The Waitrose Wool Collection of mattresses have been carefully designed to provide classic comfort and support with active pressure relief. This range recognises all the natural benefits of British wool, such as its breathability and natural temperature regulation, and that it repels dust-allergens and is naturally biodegradable.

Designed with a combination of 1600 pocket springs and 1.3kg (per king size mattress) of naturally temperature regulating British wool, the Waitrose Wool No. 2 creates a wonderfully relaxing sleep experience. With fillings on both sides of the mattress, rotate and turn with the seasons for optimum performance and longevity.

Red Tractor traceable wool from Waitrose farms
The British wool in these mattresses is responsibly sourced from our Waitrose farms, as well as farms assured by Red Tractor Food and Farming Standards, so we know exactly where it’s coming from. Our Partnership ensures these farmers get a fair price for the wool that they produce. Plus, fleece wool has natural temperature regulating properties, so while it feels cosy, soft and springy, it also helps to keep your sleep environment cool and fresh.

Pocket spring system
The pocket springs in this mattress are produced in a tightly coiled format, so they respond and react as you move throughout the night and keep your body weight evenly distributed. Providing pressure relief, they also help to maintain the structure of the mattress.

Chemical free sleep surface
Traditionally, some manufacturers add chemicals to mattresses in order for them to be fire retardant and compliant with regulations. In our quest to be as kind to the environment as possible, our wool mattresses are naturally fire retardant and free from traditional chemical flame retardant treatments.

This mattress offers a medium feel and provides comfortable support from head-to-toe.

Grade B – Brand new and unused. The mattress was returned due to a split in the packaging, which caused a  small tear and a few minor dust marks as shown in the photos we have cleaned the mattress, The marks are minor and purely cosmetic.
